This sounds easy and at the same time we are finding it difficult to write down ideas, as we have mentioned before the nature of the business but it means we need to research more into how to explore and state clear objectives to do business right.

For the nature of our ideas, seems to be necessary to divide objectives into two categories. First, business goals are the long term ones not necessarily too quantifiable (eg. brand awareness or reputation,). On the other hand, there are marketing goals, these are backup and help to get your head around numbers, it helps to allocate time and money properly so they are short term goals (eg. website traffic from which you get customers as the popularity of your site increases but also usage of different platforms and how people engage with it)

...

We have spent many hours on this but actually I know they will not be perfect, we are trying to work on this realistically but at the end of the day has been too much time on this so it's time to move on otherwise will never finish.

*Some links that explain easily and serve as initial guidance:

SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats)

I have started this stage before speaking with my friend about it but of course it helped me as guidance, even though it was a diagram I did thinking of me as business ages ago, it somehow contributed to start and get something much more complete and logical. I knew it was not perfect but yet after talking through I realized it was not complete and that it will change completely because it goes with the vibe of the business idea.

I am going to be really honest, I am not seeing the hours invested on this are making any sense but yet it motivates me to partner and learn from working with a friend that has a better understanding of this, it  has been about learning business terminology, not very good at it but we are both trying hard ...

However, Youtube has been very helpful to fully understand the differentiation of internal and external side of it to make sense of how to complete the graph.

When you separate that in you mind ideas flow better as you know as a whole it should come from a balance between customer and owner point of view.
