Let’s recap, should we? Last year I did look very briefly into S.E.O or Search Engine Optimisation which basicaly is how google rates your site.

I thought at the beginning this will e just a list of phrases or common searching words and this idea of getting kind of obsessed to be known, to be relevant and appear on frontside but actually this topic has plenty to unpack…


I think the main focus is content, what will fill each page on our website and so is specific and yet substantial because not just serves portfolio but is constantly being renewed, is our reflection as artists and as much as you do it the better you get.

Therefore, how does marketing a photographic business works nowadays? Is in our hands, and the S.E.O. help us to be found by the right audience and so you reach the level of feeling stablished because you are not back in the list.

I am not going to lie, it is very tricky and I am sure it is before having failed plenty of times so you can actually get better overtime. Because is a lot of details to bear in mind and for me feels like mathematics with formulas to memorise and you know is kind of easy to identify key elements so you know with the time,whether you need it to solve this problem or not… This is a job to keep learning for a lifetime I am afraid.


So, as much as I am struggling with this,I know now that I need to keep a close look into every single element or content on my website because extra elements add flavour and in this case, SEO makes sense to be relevant and helpful if I am committed updating it regularly. The problem is not to know how technology works but to learn how to use it wisely and then all will come handy!
